Fundraising

We want your money to go a long way and so 100% of the money you raise will support the chosen causes.  To ensure that we are really addressing the needs of these causes, we will be working with other charities or social enterprises who understand the challenges their communities are facing.  Of course we will have administration costs but these will be covered by the contributions of people and resources from within the industry.  If you, or your company, can help by providing resource to help run the charity then let us know. There are many ways you can get involved, click here to find out more.

Previous events – Nottingham quiz night

The Learn Appeal quiz night run by Walkgrove and attended by local e-learning businesses, Mind-Click and Delta-Net was a huge success, raising £670.10 (who knows where the 10p came from).

Nearly eighty people turned out including Walkgrove’s corporate lawyers, Geldards, who also donated a raffle prize.  Local businesses were very generous with donations – notably Boots and Thorntons – and the raffle prizes were so good, that we raised a whopping £200 in ticket sales.  Letters thanking all raffle prize donors will go out next week.  The Approach provided the venue free of charge and laid on lovely food.  The ‘Ds’ from Mind-Click won the first prize of £80 cash and promptly donated the winnings back to the charity on behalf of Mind-Click – so a very big thank you to them.
